PTI Engineered Plastics is expanding its Clean Room!

Macomb, MI – PTI Engineered Plastics has announced it is expanding its Class 8 Clean Room.  The expansion will almost triple the current floor space, going from 3,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft. and is scheduled to be complete by the end of August 2024.

The increased space will allow up to 24 additional injection molding presses dedicated to Clean Room molding. This represents a 3-fold increase in production as demand for medical devices continues to climb.

As part of this expansion, two additional upgrades will be added.  A 2-ton crane will be installed to assist in moving heavy tooling and the current Conair drying system will be expanded to provide all clean room presses be fed the latest material drying technology.
