VANGEST has completed its acquisition of Micro Systems and Optimold, the UK’s leading specialist mold and injection molding manufacturers.

Both companies boast over two decades in high-precision mold making and injection molding for the healthcare and medtech sectors. The acquired businesses have manufacturing facilities in both the UK and Singapore and are now fully integrated into VANGEST.

The deal is a significant milestone in the Portuguese industrial landscape. It marks the acquisition of one of the UK’s foremost medtech specialists by a domestic leader.

It also follows VANGEST’s acquisition of TECNOMATRIX, a Spanish manufacturer of high-precision mold solutions, completed in 2024.
