Rimkus Acquires Human Factors Consulting Services Inc.

The consulting firm expanded its capabilities with the strategic acquisition of a medical human factors firm.

Rimkus Consulting Group, a provider of engineering, technical consulting, and life sciences services has acquired Human Factors Consulting Services, Incorporated (HFCSI), a firm specializing in human factors services and medical device consulting.

HFCSI offers user-centered design, usability testing, and risk assessments. Their medical device consulting expertise will offer Rimkus new opportunities to expand its capabilities in the medical and healthcare industries.

HFCSI will join Rimkus as part of its Core Human Factors group. The Core team of human factors analysis experts offer research and guidance on consumer, industrial, and healthcare-related products.
