Resmed has launched the AirTouch F30i Comfort mask in the U.S., a new CPAP full face mask.

Building on the company’s AirTouch F30i Clear, the AirTouch F30i Comfort boasts a compact design, fabric cushion, and fully fabric-wrapped frame to deliver elevated comfort. It also complements the track record of the AirTouch N30i, a fabric wrapped nasal cushion mask that also touts a fabric-wrapped frame.

Its ComfiSoft cushion and frame with breathable and moisture-wicking fabric allows it to deliver maximum comfort without compromising on seal. It was developed using thousands of digital biomarkers to provide a tailored fit, as well.

ComfiSoft with AdaptiSeal tech combines fabric and silicone and is designed to gently adapt to the face, creating a secure seal that moves with the individual as they sleep. It’s available in three cushion sizes and three frame sizes for more personalization.

“At Resmed, we’re focused on designing health technologies that people want to use night after night,” said Justin Leong, chief product officer at Resmed. “That means designing masks that help make it easier for people to start and stay on CPAP therapy. With the AirTouch F30i Comfort, we’re extending our fabric-mask innovation to more patients, combining softness, breathability and performance to help people sleep better, breathe better and live healthier lives.”

The mask is compatible with Resmed’s AirCurve 11, AirSense 11, AirCurve 10, AirSense 10, S9 Autoset, and select VPAP devices.

In December, the company earned FDA clearance for Smart Comfort, an artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled medical device that recommends personalized comfort settings to help people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) start and remain on CPAP therapy.
