Pete Scharber Joins Cadence as Sales VP

New hire has nearly three decades of medical manufacturing experience.

Cadence, Inc. has welcomed a new executive team member, appointing Pete Scharber as sales vice president. He will lead the company’s commercial strategy and sales organization, working to expand global customer relationships and drive continued growth.

Scharber has nearly 30 years of medical manufacturing experience, including a decade in executive leadership roles. He has an exceptional track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams, executing go-to-market strategies, and scaling commercial operations. His background includes key leadership roles at Nypro, SMC Ltd., MGS Healthcare Manufacturing, and Comar, where he consistently delivered strategic growth and business transformation.

“Pete’s deep understanding of the medical contract manufacturing industry, along with his ability to align commercial strategy with customer needs, makes him a tremendous asset to our team,” Cadence President/CEO Rob Werge stated. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to scale our operations and expand our customer base worldwide.”

In his new role, Scharber will provide executive leadership and strategic direction to Cadence’s sales team. He particularly will focus on building strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions to meet OEM partners’ evolving needs.

Cadence is a vertically integrated, medical device contract manufacturing organization serving the medical device, diagnostics, and drug delivery markets, providing best-in-class product design and development support through complete manufacturing of finished devices.
