MTD Micro Molding, a problem solver in micro-injection molding for the medical device industry, made the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies for the second time. MTD Micro Molding was ranked at position No. 4735 due to its three-year growth of 48 percent.

The Inc. 5000 list ranks independent, privately-owned American companies by overall revenue growth in a three-year period. To determine this year’s winners, 2013 and 2016 revenues were evaluated. All 5,000 honored companies are individually profiled on Inc.’s website and will be officially recognized in October during an awards ceremony in Orlando, Fla.
 
Multiple factors contributed to the micro molding company’s success including long-term projects starting to pay off. “The growth is attributable to many of our development projects that were in the pipeline, advancing to production,” Tully said. Other factors included a dedicated micro medical market focus, a unique expertise in bioabsorbable and drug delivery micro injection molding, achieving ISO 13485 certification in 2016, and expanded sales reach throughout the United States.
