There were multiple deals between companies this past month, from full acquisitions to the purchasing of business units. 
 
Edwards expanded with the acquisition of JenaValve and Endotronix. Both companies will help Edwards strengthen its cardiac business and meet the needs of aortic regurgitation and heart failure patients. 
 
Belkin Vision was acquired by Alcon for Belkin’s direct selective laser trabeculoplasty (DLST) technology. 
 
GE HealthCare purchased Intelligent Ultrasound’s clinical AI business. GE plans to leverage Intelligent Ultrasound’s AI-enabled image recognition within GE HealthCare Women’s Health ultrasound devices, and across its ultrasound franchise. 
 
Cook Medical signed a letter of intent to sell its Reproductive Health business (Cook ART) to private equity firm Astorg. The sale includes Cook’s in vitro fertilization (IVF) and assisted reproductive technology (ART) portfolio.
