Syensqo is starting the new year off with a new leader.

The company’s new board member and CEO, Mike Radossich, has settled into the corner office. Radossich succeeds Dr. Ilham Kadri, who will continue supporting the company as a special advisor to ensure a smooth leadership transition.

A longstanding Syensqo executive with extensive experience leading global businesses, Radossich brings to his new role deep industry knowledge and a strong track record of operational excellence. He will steer Syensqo’s next development phase as the company continues to focus on creating value for its stakeholders, accelerating sustainable, profitable growth, and driving long-term performance.

Radossich has more than 30 years of experience working in the specialty chemicals and advanced materials sectors and a strong track record of transforming global businesses, accelerating growth, and developing high-performing teams. Before his appointment as CEO, Radossich was president of Syensqo’s Performance & Care (P&C) Division and a member of the Board of Managers in North America.

Known for his bias for action and deep operational expertise, Radossich has guided organizations through complex strategic change while consistently delivering sustainable, profitable results. Prior to the creation of Syensqo, he held several senior executive positions at Solvay. As president of the Novecare business, he transformed one of the company’s largest global business units into a leading growth engine, expanding margins, improving capital efficiency, and strengthening market leadership. Before this, as president of Technology Solutions, Radossich led a newly integrated business following Solvay’s acquisition of Cytec Industries, managing a diverse portfolio that included mining, electronics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other high-value applications.

Radossich began his career at Cytec Industries, where he spent two decades in roles of increasing responsibility across engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing, business development and executive leadership.

A strong advocate for sustainability and responsible business leadership, Radossich has championed programs to improve safety performance, strengthen fairness and inclusion programs, and integrate sustainability into operations. He has also successfully led strategic acquisitions in areas such as skin-care activities and natural preservative solutions.

Radossich has been active in several industry organizations, including the World Chemical Forum, Six Sigma Management, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and is engaged in philanthropic initiatives focused on health and community support.

Radossich earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
