Medical Murray has strengthened its commitment to complex catheter and implant development following the acquisition of its North Carolina facility by Aptyx. As an independent company in Illinois, Medical Murray has expanded its manufacturing footprint by 30,000 square feet to support growing demand.

Through this partnership, Medical Murray will continue to drive innovation in minimally invasive devices while providing top-tier contract development and manufacturing services to medical device companies worldwide.

“This move lets us focus on what we do best, which is designing and manufacturing complex catheters and implants,” said Andy Leopold, CEO of Medical Murray. “At the same time, partnering with Aptyx gives us a strong platform to scale even further. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead, both in Illinois and in North Carolina, and we look forward to helping our customers bring the next generation of medical devices to market.”

John Hwang, Managing Partner of Areida Group, served as the exclusive advisor to Medical Murray throughout the carve-out transaction and will stay on as CFO to ensure a smooth transition and continued operational excellence.
