Trelleborg Healthcare & Medical has hired Jason Ward as project manager – Strategic Initiatives, at its Northborough, Mass., facility.
 
Ward will manage the company’s value-added services and facility expansion and will be based out of the Northborough BioPharma Center of Excellence. He will collaborate with Trelleborg program management and sales teams.
 
“Jason’s biomedical engineering background equips him with a broad understanding of the medical device market and he will support in the delivery of projects to market for our customers,” said Daniel Diffenderfer, director of Strategic Initiatives, Trelleborg Healthcare & Medical. 
 
Ward has experience in the medical device market, having most recently worked for SMC Ltd. as a senior project engineer and for Isto Biologics as a project engineer. Ward earned a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts and is currently completing an MBA at Framingham State University in Massachusetts.
