Innovia Medical Acquires Grace Medical & Hurricane Medical

The two strategic acquisitions establish a leading manufacturer of ENT and ophthalmic surgical products.

Innovia Medical, a single-use products manufacturer, closed two acquisitions of Grace Medical and Hurricane Medical.

Innovia is a portfolio company of buyout firm Inverness Graham.

Memphis, Tenn.-based Grace medical is a maker of single-use surgical implants, instruments, and consumables for ENT (ear, nose, and throat) procedures. The company boasts in-house manufacturing capabilities, physician relationships, and a product portfolio supported by over 20 patents.

Bradenton, Fla.-based Hurricane Medical manufactures single-use ophthalmic surgical products and instruments used in a wide variety of surgeries. The company touts an purpose built, automated production facility.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
