H&T Presspart Buys Majority Stake in Plas-Tech Engineering

H&T Presspart, a division of the Heitkamp & Thurmann Group, as agreed to acquire a majority stake in Plas-Tech Engineering, a privately-owned medical device manufacturer based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Plas-Tech is a manufacturing partner for complex, high-precision medical components and devices. The company focuses on design, development, and manufacturing of parenteral syringe systems and medical devices for the pharma and biotech industries, leveraging advanced molding technologies and design for manufacturing (DFM) expertise.

The deal grows H&T Passpart’s manufacturing footprint into the U.S. and reinforces its vision of being a trusted, customer focused manufacturer of drug delivery devices.

“With its longstanding experience in the development and manufacturing of components and devices for the global pharmaceutical industry, H&T Presspart is the right home for Plas-Tech and its employees,” said Plas-Tech president and chief technology officer Aaron Hirschmann. “Together, we will create strong synergies and drive shared growth.”

Hirschmann will remain with the business as part of the executive leadership team and continue to be a shareholder in Plas-Tech.

In addition, Plas-Tech’s site in Lake Geneva, WI opens new opportunities to serve our joint customer base globally.”
