GE HealthCare has introduced Genesis Radiolology Workspace, a solution designed to transform radiology workflows, unify the user experience, and provide radiologists with efficiency and precision.

At the heart of this innovation is Genesis View, a 510(k)-pending viewer designed to be a fast diagnostic, zero-footprint viewer. It aims to streamline radiology workflows by enhancing patients care and being accessible from any location.

Genesis View’s goal is to empower diagnosticians to work from virtually anywhere with diagnostic accuracy. It was designed to provide high-performance 2D/3D visualization and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven tools and will integrate with GE HealthCare’s Genesis portfolio of cloud solutions.

It’s also engineered to have direct access to the full suite of Advanced Visualization (AW) viewing applications.

Genesis Radiology Workspace’s high-performance visualization adapts to individual reading preferences and automatically displays current and prior studies. User-defined AI prioritization offers the ability to bring critical findings to the top to make sure they’re visible, as well.

Genesis View lets radiologists reject/modify the AI findings provided by third-party AI apps based on their review. Interoperability powered by FHIRcast ensures smooth integration with EMRs and other healthcare systems.

“With Genesis Radiology Workspace, we’re redefining how radiology is practiced,” said Scott Miller, CEO, Solutions for Enterprise Imaging at GE HealthCare. “By combining cloud-native accessibility with embedded AI and advanced visualization, it is designed to enable diagnostic imaging professionals to work smart, fast, and from anywhere—without compromising diagnostic accuracy. This innovation is intended to address the pressures radiology departments face today, streamlining workflows, reducing cognitive burden, and ultimately improving patient care.”

Genesis Radiology Workspace will be displayed at next week’s Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) meeting.
