Command Medical Products Names Jim Fitzgerald as Executive Chairman

Fitzgerald was previously CEO of Flexan, where he led the company through growth and its acquisition by ILC Dover.

Command Medical Products has appointed Jim Fitzgerald as executive chairman of its board of directors.

The company specializes in contract manufacturing services for single-use, disposable medical devices. It serves global OEMs and life sciences companies.

Fitzgerald was previously CEO of Flexan, where he led the company through growth and its acquisition by ILC Dover. His prior experience also includes senior executive roles at MRP Solutions, ITxM, Vesta, and Cardinal Health.

Fitzgerald began his career at Baxter Healthcare.

Ormond Beach, Fla.-based Command was founded in 1987. The company provides specialized manufacturing services, including tube extrusion, RF welding, heat sealing, and cleanroom assembly. The company operates two FDA- and ISO-certified facilities in Florida and Central America.
