Cadence Joins the Costa Rica Medical Devices Cluster

The Medical Devices Cluster focuses on talent development, R&D, suppliers, and logistics.

Cadence, Inc. has announced its membership in the Medical Devices Cluster in Costa Rica, becoming the 64th member of this initiative.

Established in 2019, the cluster promotes collaboration among medical device companies operating in Costa Rica, allowing synergy and co-creation within the industry. 

“We are very excited to join the Medical Devices Cluster and contribute to its mission of advancing the medical device sector in Costa Rica,” stated Adrian Casares, Director of Operations for Cadence’s Costa Rica facility. “Our membership reflects our commitment to collaboration and innovation, and we look forward to working with fellow members to drive economic growth and enhance our collective capabilities.”

The Medical Devices Cluster focuses on four strategic pillars: talent development, research and development (R&D), suppliers, and logistics. The cluster aims to strengthen Costa Rica’s position as a competitive player in the global medical devices market and enhance the country’s medical device ecosystem.
