Arthur G. Russell Co. Inc. (AGR), a provider of automated assembly solutions, has acquired Fletcher, N.C.-based ProMATIC Automation.

ProMATIC is a provider of customized automation systems. AGR selected the company due to its ability to deliver flexible, customer-focused automation solutions. ProMATIC has a team of skilled engineers, designers, programmers, machinists, fabricators, and assemblers.

The company’s 37,0000-square-foot facility is located near Asheville Regional Airport. This location. AGR has a 100,000-square-foot facility in Bristol, Conn. and now expands its presence in the rapidly growing southern manufacturing sector.

The acquisition, according to AGR, boosts its ability to support businesses at all growth stages. The company can offer scalable automation solutions that are tailored to each customer’s specific requirements.
