Windjammer Capital Acquires PrecisionX Group

The purchase positions PrecisionX for accelerated growth across aerospace and defense, medical device, and satellite and space markets.

PrecisionX Group (PrecisionX), has been acquired by Windjammer Capital, a private equity firm with more than $3 billion in committed capital. The partnership marks a significant milestone in PrecisionX’s growth trajectory and strengthens the company’s ability to serve customers across its core end markets.

PrecisionX manufactures highly engineered metal components for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the aerospace and defense, medical device, and satellite and space industries. With approximately 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space across seven facilities, the company integrates multiple advanced manufacturing capabilities under one platform, including deep draw, progressive stamping, microstamping, Swiss screw machining, five-axis CNC milling, and wire EDM.
