Rockfield Medical Devices Limited has received CE Mark approval for the Mobility+ Elastomeric Enteral Feeding System, reportedly the world’s first elastomeric enteral feeding solution designed to enhance patient mobility, comfort, and quality of life.

Unlike conventional enteral feeding systems, Mobility+ provides a silent, electricity-free, wearable alternative that supports greater independence for patients requiring long-term or home-based nutritional support.

“We are thrilled to receive CE Mark approval for Mobility+, a major milestone in Rockfield’s mission to empower active feeding for patients around the world,” Rockfield Medical Devices CEO Tomas Thompson said. “This regulatory achievement reflects the team’s hard work, close collaboration with clinicians and patients, and our commitment to addressing longstanding unmet needs in enteral nutrition. With CE Mark certification, we can now bring Mobility+ to patients and healthcare providers throughout Europe and beyond.”

The CE Mark follows the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance of Rockfield Medical’s over-the-counter (OTC) clearance. Together, these authorizations position Rockfield to execute its commercial strategy across major developed markets, including the United States, the European Union, and the EEA, as well as other international regions, according to the company.

Clinical and real-world use of Mobility+ has demonstrated strong acceptance among patients, caregivers, and clinicians, with reported improvements in feeding tolerance, ease of use, and overall quality of life.

“We have seen firsthand the transformative impact Mobility+ has on patients and caregivers in the United States,” Rockfield Medical Devices Chairperson Peter Mulrooney stated. “CE Mark approval allows Rockfield to extend these benefits to patients across Europe and other global markets. This milestone enables the next phase of Rockfield’s growth and supports our vision to redefine the standard of care in enteral feeding.”

Rockfield Medical Devices is a medical technology company whose flagship product, Mobility+, provides a mobile, silent, and user-centered alternative to traditional enteral feeding systems. Rockfield aims to empower active feeding and enhance independence, comfort, and quality of life for patients and caregivers worldwide.
