Keystone announced that its plastic battery holders’ lineup now includes a new Thru-Hole mountable (THM) holder to support the high-energy Lithium-Ion 10450 cells as well as non-standard length AAA cells.

This durable battery holder is molded from polypropylene and specifically designed without polarity tabs which typically restrict proper connectivity of 10450 lithium cells.  Spring contacts are made from steel with nickel plating, ensuring low contact resistance and superior solder joints where lead-free soldering or reflow processes are employed, according to the company.

The new holder—Cat. No 2468NP—accommodates the high-energy 10450 AAA Lithium-Ion cells as well as a wide range of other AAA size cylindrical batteries with short positive tabs from all major manufacturers.

The company claims its new Battery Holder strengthens its leadership role for engineering battery connectivity products including contacts, holders, retainers, and straps.  Keystone also supplies quality interconnects, hardware, and components, and maintains an application engineering group supported by expert stamping, machining, and assembly functions.

Keystone is ISO-9001:2015 certified, RoHS compliant, with U.S. headquarters in New Hyde Park, N.Y., and offices in Canada, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
