BIOTRONIK Inc. has formed a new partnership with MiCare Path to deliver a comprehensive remote physiologic monitoring (RPM) program for cardiology practices. The collaboration is designed to empower clinics to seamlessly extend care beyond the office visit, thus driving improved patient outcomes.

BIOTRONIK’s BIOMONITOR IV insertable cardiac monitor (ICM) devices can now be combined with a MiCare Path RPM device. The package features either a cellular-enabled blood pressure monitor or weight scale, and a patient mobile app that provides clinics with a turnkey solution to launch or expand their cardiac RPM programs. This integration supports both patients with BIOMONITOR IV devices and the broader clinical cardiology network.

“This partnership represents the next evolution in personalized cardiac care,” BIOTRONIK President Ryan Walters commented. “MiCare Path’s approach to virtual care complements our mission of delivering excellence for life. Together, we are giving providers new tools to see the whole picture so they can act faster with greater confidence, helping patients live healthier, longer lives.”

The partnership underscores the dedication of both organizations to deliver best-in-class solutions that simplify clinical workflows while enhancing patient engagement and satisfaction, bigwigs from both companies said. By combining BIOTRONIK’s cardiac monitoring technology with MiCare Path’s scalable RPM platform, clinics are equipped to deliver comprehensive, data-driven care for today’s cardiac patients.

“Our customers have been asking for deeper insight, broader coverage, and smarter care—this cooperation comes as a direct response to these,” MiCare Path CEO Scott Laster stated. “We’re proud to work alongside the team at BIOTRONIK, whose reputation for precision and clinical commitment is unmatched in the industry.”

With presence in more than 100 countries and over 60 years of medical innovation, BIOTRONIK empowers physicians with technologies that support timely decision-making, patient safety, and long-term clinical success. This partnership further extends BIOTRONIK’s vision for a connected and patient-centered future.

Over the past six years, MiCare Path has deployed its virtual care platform to tens of thousands of patients nationwide, enabling providers to extend care beyond the office visit through remote monitoring, chronic and principal care management, and intelligent real-time alerts. The integration with BIOMONITOR IV allows care teams to track arrhythmias and cardiac events more comprehensively, delivering peace of mind to both clinicians and patients.

BIOTRONIK has developed solutions that treat heart disease and chronic pain. The company engineers therapies through its advanced active implants in cardiac rhythm management, monitoring, and neuromodulation, while providing cutting-edge solutions in electrophysiology. From creating Germany’s first pacemaker in 1963 to breaking new ground in digital technologies and conduction system pacing today, BIOTRONIK raises the bar for quality, performance, and innovation. Headquartered in Berlin, the company’s global reach spans more than 100 countries across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.

In partnership with clinicians, MiCare Path extends care beyond the office visit through its integrated, reimbursable virtual care platform.
