Bill Ellerkamp is joining VitalPath, a medical device contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), as its new CEO. The company specializes in complex catheters and precision laser components. Ellerkamp comes to VitalPath after serving as president of Precision Coating following its acquisition by Integer in February. While in that role, he helped guide the company in several acquisitions and expanded global operations, which included a facility in Costa Rica. He also drove investment in materials development, automation, culture, management infrastructure, and information systems.

Ellerkamp, an industry executive partner at Inverness Graham Investments, has served as an executive leader and board member at various CDMOs. Previously, he’s also served in leadership roles at ExtruMed, a tight-tolerance medical extrusions business, and AdvancedCath, a complex catheter delivery systems manufacturer.
