Dr. Sherry Gray, vice president and general manager at Freudenberg Medical’s Silicone Business Unit in Beverly, Massachusetts is retiring after 34 years with the Freudenberg Group.
 
Gray has had a career spanning multiple industries from automotive and aerospace to consumer goods and medical devices. She began with Freudenberg in 1993 as Regional HR/HSE manager with Freudenberg-NOK in Bristol, NH. Over the next 28 years she progressed through various positions at Freudenberg, leading major organizations in New Hampshire, Georgia, Illinois, and Mexico, where she was often the first female in general management and manufacturing leadership roles.
 
She completed her Lean and Six Sigma Black Belts and was instrumental in building out and promoting lean systems within Freudenberg. Dr. Gray joined Freudenberg Medical in 2019 as vice president and general manager of the Gloucester Silicone Business Unit and guided this business to a leading position in the Northeastern USA. She also managed the process of relocating the Gloucester manufacturing operation to Freudenberg Medical’s newly constructed headquarters, an FDA-registered medical device manufacturing site in Beverly, MA.
 
About Ana Quesada
Gray is handing over leadership of the Beverly Operation to Ana Quesada. Quesada has held several positions with progressive responsibility inside and outside of Freudenberg. After completing her bachelor’s in industrial engineering, she started her career in the consumer goods industry before joining Freudenberg Medical Costa Rica in 2012 as a quality engineer.
 
In 2018 she moved to the U.S. to join Freudenberg Medical Gloucester as Quality Manager and in 2019 took responsibility for managing Operations and Supply Chain. Quesada will begin her new role as vice president and general manager for Freudenberg Medical Beverly on June 1, 2021.
