EtQ has announced enhanced searching features in its newest release, Reliance 6.2.

With EtQ’s advanced searching features, users will now have the ability to perform saved searches, which gives the user the ability to retrieve past search strings, while displaying the current real-time search results. This feature is designed to provide users with an easy way to access recent searches while providing up to the minute search results. 

The usability of searching has taken a dramatic leap forward with the introduction of type-ahead search results, which displays possible matching keywords as the user enters a search string in any EtQ field or view. Date searching has been improved with the introduction of a Web 2.0 calendar dialog for searching date fields.

Finally, EtQ has introduced a global search feature from a new search bar at the top of every page in EtQ Reliance. This enables users to conduct a Google-style search across all data within EtQ Reliance, providing a high-level keyword search across the entire system. “Using EtQ’s searching features, users will have the ability to find exactly what they are looking for, seamlessly,” said Morgan Palmer, chief technology officer at EtQ. “EtQ is able to enhance the user experience by increasing convenience and functionality. EtQ’s search tools are designed to minimize time to find important information, increase an organization’s decision-making power, while increasing overall productivity.”
